Went to brunch with my best friends here, and we loved it. I think this place is a good place to dine in and chat. This place was pretty popular-- we put our names on the reservation list and it took half an hour to get us in. When we were seated, our waiter was really nice and we got our food in a timely matter. Maybe next time we'll get to try more of the mimosas, the bathrub was their special for the day and it was cute to try. We all got different waffles and I liked the different flavors and sides. The conchita one would have to be my least favorite though; it tasted a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall, I'd definitely would come again with friends and try more of their menu. They have other options I was curious to try, like their big breakfast menu.

One late Saturday morning, my husband and I travelled for brunch prior to a reservation in the area. Off the beaten path we went, only to discover it is in the same area of the It's It Outlet. Very quaint neighborhood area, a few shops surrounding, extremely limited parking. We entered, the hostess was very friendly, seating is limited and restaurant is small. Luckily there was seating at the bar and we were able to order our meal there. The young lady who assisted us at the bar was friendly as well, all smiles, very genuine with great conversation. She was attentive and took our orders promptly. We order two meals and a Bellini - White peach Bellini (7.99): I received a white peach mimosa instead of the Bellini requested. Champagne flavored with pumps of Monin white peach syrup - quite enjoyable. Mexican Waffle (18.29): comes with eggs and choice of meat. Since I do not eat meat, I subbed avocado and a fruit plate. The waffle was delectable and required zero syrup. The drizzled cajeta and lechera set the flavor profile over the top. I would definitely order again. The waffle was fluffy with crispy edges and held up perfectly to the added drizzle. Chicken & Waffle (21.39): came with bacon and your choice of original or sweet & spicy glaze on the chicken. The chicken provided was strips, cooked too hard and severely dry - according to my husband. The waffle he said was basic and did not offer much to the dish. The sweet & spicy glaze he said was incredibly sweet and provided no hint of spice. He was extremely disappointed in his meal and said he would never order it again. I would return for the dish I had and the level of service received. Be prepared to walk a short distance depending on the day/time you visit.

Phenomenal food, phenomenal service, and Great Ambiance! Decided to try this place out based on the picture of the fruity pebble waffles and SO GLAD we did! All of our food was outstanding and huge portions! We were indecisive on what we wanted, but Henry gave great suggestions and was just an amazing server! He was so on top of everything and made sure we constantly had whatever we needed! We are from Hayward just passing through, but we will be sure to make a trip up here again for the food and service!

We had a great breakfast there. I had the guava mimosa and loco moco. The service was outstanding and portions were large. Very happy.

I attempted to dine at The Maple Bar Cafe with a friend a few months ago, however, the long line outside of the restaurant and long waitlist caused us to go elsewhere. One thing that stood out to me, from this initial visit, was the ambiance of the restaurant. The decoration and set up on the inside is warm and inviting, which still held true even when I actually dined here months later. Yesterday morning, my family and I were able to dine at The Maple Bar Cafe for brunch for the first time. I was surprised that there wasn't a very long wait, however, the estimate they gave us was about 25 minutes. My husband and I used that time to take our daughter for a brief stroll by the marina, so the wait went by very quickly. The staff, in general, were quite friendly, attentive to our needs, and very thoughtful. Dining out with a toddler can present some challenges, however, the staff did an excellent job making things as smooth as possible for my husband and I. The hostess brought a high chair over for us after seating us at our table, which was already equipped with fresh cups of water. Our waiter gave us a kid sized cup (which came with a plastic lid and straw) for my child to enjoy while eating her brunch. After receiving our orders, our waiter asked if we wanted a small plate for us to use for our daughter, which we didn't think to ask for. It came in quite handy since she ate majority of my strawberries. So as a mom, especially having some not so pleasant experiences at other restaurants in the past, I truly appreciate the care and consideration that our waiter and hostess showed us. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were more than reasonable! After looking at the menu the night before, I was set on ordering the Linguiça Benedict meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it came with fresh fruits, including strawberries, blueberries, mango, and pineapples (which I found impressive since other places mainly just give you berries and a melon or two). My husband ordered the original waffle combo and asked to add cheese to his scrambled eggs. We didn't have to wait long for our orders yo be ready and brought out to us. The portion sizes were spot on, since they left all of us quite full after cleaning our plates. My husband really enjoyed his waffle meal and even shared some of his eggs with our daughter, who also enjoyed them. Our baby enjoyed our food so much that she ate nearly all of my strawberries and a good amount of my hash browns. I also really enjoyed my meal, especially since it was the unique pairing of eggs Benedict and linguica. It was actually a pretty tasty combination. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with our dining experience at The Maple Bar Cafe! The food and service were great, so we plan on dining here again in the near future.

4.8 stars! This is the highest rating I have ever given to a food establishment as I am a very hard critic. As these reviews can have very real impacts on the business they reflect, I had actually stopped providing reviews. The Maple Bar was so good that I had to come back and provide some positive feedback. Ambiance: A combination of quaint and trendy, the Maple Bar's layout looks to maximize space while not making their patrons feel crowded. They have some very nice trendy lighting in the bar area and some crystal-like chandeliers around the dining area. I would change out the chandeliers to match the lighting over the bar. The music selection is what really set the ambiance apart. On this particular day, there was an eclectic selection of smooth vibing music, which lent to a feeling of being in an upscale big city day club lounge. Parking: While there are several parking spots in front of the restaurant, they were all filled, resulting in street parking. The street itself is small and was quiet while we were there, so it was not really an issue. Service: Service was overall great. The female hostess had a great smile and was very inviting. Our server was initially prompt and checked on us a couple of times to see if we were ready to order. I had my work laptop with me, and at one point, I was attempting to connect to my hotspot, and our server quickly came over to see if I needed the password to their wifi. Once we ordered, our food was prepared relatively quickly. The only deduction I would provide regarding the service was that once we had our food, our server did not come back and check on us nor refill our drinks (water). I had to ask the passing hostess for a water refill, which eventually prompted our server to come and check on us. Food: The food is definitely the star of the show! The menu is filled with soo many options that it took us a while to narrow down what we might want to eat. Onced delivered, the food was prepared and plated as if it was served to be used for a commercial, so picturesque! I ordered the Mexican Waffle combo, with sunnyside-up egss and extra-crispy bacon. Eggs are simple, but easy to mess up. I have never had such perfectly cooked sunnyside-up eggs! The bacon was cooked perfectly and thick-cut, and the flavor was excellent and did not taste of "old pig" as can be the case with thick-cut bacon occasionally. The waffle had a lot of sweetness but the tartness of the strawberries balanced ot out nicely. The churro bites which topped it off were ok, but a bit hard for my liking. My son ordered the Meat Lovers skillet, which was huge! I had a taste of his skillet and all of.the flavors popped, especially the perfectly ripened tomatoes and avocado. We were in the Fairfield area making a purchase from FB marketplace and are from a town about 45 minutes away, but the overall experience was so good that I will be coming back so that the rest of my family can experience the Maple Bar. And speaking of family, the Maple Bar is family owned and operated by some great people, so I really enjoy giving my support to people living their dreams....now if they can just open a spot closer to my home!

Rainy random Saturday aside....the vibes were vibin' at the Maple bar cafe. Good music was playing as our group got ready to order. Although the place was busy...the waitress came to the table in good time and started off pretty plesant. Only setback for me was when 1 one of our plates was forgotten about and when asked if we were missing anything; (cinnamon roll pancakes a la cart) we told the waitress exactly what it was...and she brought back a waffle. My friend and I were sharing that plate ...so we were disappointed the waitress had written down the wrong item, but saw that the right item was on the check receipt. ( no excuses honey!!!) I would like to try what we ordered if we go back. Overall we enjoyed ourselves...Mango mimosas definetly smoothed things over. Ciao for now......

As soon as we started walking close to the restaurant it smelled so good! Service was great! They were busy but we were able to get in with not wait time and once we ordered we got all our food very quickly. They have a big menu and so many things sounded so good. I ended up getting the conchita french toast and it was amazing! It came with eggs and bacon or sausage. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. Definitely will be back soon to try some of their other breakfast items.

Really really good food! We came on Presidents' Day. We got here around 11:45am. There was a 1hour wait. I don't know if the long wait is normal or if it was due to the holiday and people being out of work and school. We received a text saying our table was ready about 40mins later. We had looked over the menu while we waited so we already knew what we wanted. We got the meat lovers scramble and the red velvet waffle. Incredible! The portions were big. And the food was delicious! The cotton candy mimosa was super basic. I would not get that again. The only negative was the volume of the music. It was a bit too loud to me. The playlist was good though.

This is a lot with the fruity pebbles and syrup but I still left this place super satisfied and happy. Our server was very attentive with the drinks! Make sure to order the glitter mimosa or as we like to call it the "pretty" mimosa! They don't take reservations so there is a high chance you will be waiting, try not to come here if your starving because you will be hangry but if your willing to wait it is worthwhile - @emrodeats
